The hit show, itself, is an adaptation of BBC’s drama that was broadcasted back in the 1990s. The drama, based on the book written by Michael Dobbs sees the elite struggle for power and attempt to take over each other’s position throughout the series.
It is a true masterpiece, that is entwined with sheer dialogues and scripting, that is topped off by superb acting from the show’s ensemble cast.
The show premiered on 3rd February, 2013 and is renewed for a third season, with increasing viewership and ratings going through the roof continuously.

The show has a rating of 85 and continues to flourish under the marvelous script writing that it has received over time. On 11th July, 2013, the comedy drama first premiered on Netflix and is renewed for a third season after it received 12 nominations for the Prime-time Emmy Award.
This American sitcom first premiered in 2003 and was broadcasted until 2006 when it was eventually cancelled, even though it was critically acclaimed. The main reason for its cancellation was low viewership and even lower ratings.
However, the show was premiered on Netflix in 2013 and has become an instant hit for American viewers ever since. Looks like the new generation admires this American sitcom more than the generation of the previous decade!
The Killing is a slow, but momentous thriller drama that focuses on serial killers and abductors. The show first premiered worldwide in 2013 and was received positively by critics, as well as had high viewership and good ratings.
The show, however, was cancelled by AMC after its third season yet Netflix ordered 6 more episodes to finish off the series in style, so The Killing is renewed for season 4 and has obviously become an instant hit on Netflix when it premiered in 2014.
The original series has been so good that it was renewed for a third straight season after it became the first web television series to be nominated for a Prime-time Emmy award. The show consists of horror stories that take place in a town, namely, Hemlock grove that exists in the state of Pennsylvania.
